Welcome to The Salamanca Collection

The Salamanca Collection is one of the oldest fine art galleries in Tasmania, Australia. Situated in the tourist precinct of Salamanca, Hobart, The Salamanca Collection offers art lovers a contemporary art exhibition calendar of leading Tasmanian and Australian artists. This is in addition to a collection of late 19th and 20th Century Australian art works which are for sale.  Artists include Charles Blackman, Ray Crooke, Robert Dickerson, Russell Drysdale, John Eldershaw, Nora Heysen, Edit Holmes, WD Knox, Norman Lindsay, Sidney Nolan and Joe Rose. 

We represent contemporary artists Matthew Armstrong, Paul Boam, Keith Climpson, Chris Bennett, Murray Bird, Dallas Bromley, Katherine Cooper, Francis Giacco, Todd Jenkins, Adrian Lockhart, John Lownds, Jerzy Michalski, Chen Ping, Amanda Parer, Sophy Reynolds, Dianne Smith, Julian Thompson, Jenny Turner, Luke Wagner, Sam Wade, Katy Woodroofe, Pieter Zaadstra and Ingeborg Zotz in Tasmania.
